Kenya’s legendary runner Eliud Kipchoge, a double Olympic champion, faced disappointment at the Tokyo Marathon as he finished in 10th place behind Benson Kipruto, the eventual winner. Kipchoge, 39, struggled after the 20-kilometer mark, crossing the finish line in 2 hours, 6 minutes, and 50 seconds.
