Borussia Dortmund secured their spot in the Champions League quarter-finals with a 2-0 victory over PSV Eindhoven, completing a 3-1 aggregate triumph. 

Jadon Sancho’s third-minute strike, his first Champions League goal since November 2021, set Dortmund on the right path with a low shot from outside the box. 

Despite their early lead, Dortmund faced some nervy moments and relied on luck and PSV’s profligacy, notably Hirving Lozano hitting the post in the 53rd minute.

Marco Reus sealed Dortmund’s progression with a late goal, capitalizing on an unfortunate slip by PSV’s Isaac Babadi.

Reus sealed the victory for Dortmund in injury time, adding to the disappointment for PSV, who had hoped for extra time but ultimately fell short.
