Authorities are now also focused on unraveling the mystery surrounding the whereabouts of the deceased’s wife, who departed with him on Monday to an undisclosed destination.
Despite their joint departure, Kisangi returned alone on Wednesday, preceding the horrific incident.
Havira Masiko, a resident of Kitengela, recounted witnessing a blaze emanating from “Raila’s” house, prompting concern among neighbors.
Fortunately, the domestic worker, Ann Atieno Nyaliki, who was asleep at the time, managed to escape unscathed.
The sequence of events paints a perplexing picture for the community, compounded by the absence of Kisangi’s wife.
Their departure together on Monday, only for Kisangi to reappear without her on Wednesday, adds to the enigma. Shortly after his return, Kisangi retired to his bedroom, where the tragic act transpired.
The aftermath revealed a scene of devastation, with Kisangi’s body rendered unrecognizable by the fire, and property of indeterminate value reduced to ashes.

Additionally, two empty gas cylinders discovered alongside the body in one of the bedrooms hint at their potential role in igniting the blaze.
As investigations progress, the deceased’s body has been transported to Shalom mortuary in Athi River, awaiting postmortem examination to shed light on the circumstances surrounding his untimely demise.
