The wire had come into contact with the iron sheeting of her house, carrying a dangerous current likely due to poor power connections.
Laventer’s desperate cries for help went unanswered as she tragically lost her life on the spot upon touching the electrified clothesline.
Hearing her distress, her brothers-in-law rushed to her aid, only to meet the same fate. Despite their efforts, both Elijah and Isaiah were fatally electrocuted upon contact with Laventer’s body still entangled in the deadly current.
Preliminary investigations by authorities suggest that the power connection at Laventer’s house was tampered with by an individual from the village lacking expertise in electrical work, leading to the tragic accident.
