After nearly three weeks of concern and intensive search efforts, Victor Kibet, who went missing on March 18 following an alleged abduction in Juja, Kiambu, has been found alive. 

His father, Paul Mutai, confirmed that Kibet reached out to him on Friday, April 5, reassuring him of his well-being. 

The disappearance of the 23-year-old had sparked widespread concern within the community and among authorities.

Eyewitnesses reported that Kibet was taken away by individuals claiming to be police officers while he was enjoying a game of pool at an entertainment joint in Kiambu County. 

They observed him being forced into a waiting Subaru, which quickly left the scene followed by another vehicle. 

Despite intensive search efforts, Kibet’s whereabouts remained unknown until his recent contact with his father.

Contrary to rumors portraying Kibet as a wealthy tycoon with multiple luxury vehicles, his father clarified that Kibet was primarily a farmer. 

Paul Mutai dismissed allegations of his son’s involvement in online fraud, emphasizing that Kibet’s main source of income was from farming.
