The grim discovery was made by residents the following morning, April 7, as his body dangled from a belt attached to the kiosk’s front.
Contrary to initial assumptions of suicide, authorities have dismissed this possibility due to the flimsy structure of the kiosk, where Nyabaro’s feet were observed to be touching the ground.
Despite assertions from his family that Nyabaro had no known disputes, investigators are delving into all possible leads to ascertain whether the incident was a murder or a suicide.
Kisii County Commander, Charles Kasses, emphasized the ongoing nature of the investigation, stating that the motive remains unclear at this stage.
Nyabaro’s body has been transferred to the morgue, awaiting an autopsy to shed light on the circumstances surrounding his tragic demise.
