On Thursday, politician and social media influencer Alinur Mohamed was charged with publishing false information against State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohamed. 

Alinur, who had been arrested on Wednesday, appeared before Magistrate Robinson Ondieki and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
