The untimely death of Duke Nyabaro, a prominent Kisii blogger and teacher in Migori county, has shaken his community and the Bonchari constituency.

Found dead outside a kiosk in Kitutu Central, initial assumptions of suicide are challenged by conflicting witness accounts and family insistence that the 31-year-old would never take his own life.

Described as a beacon of hope with a promising future, Nyabaro’s family adamantly rejects suicide as the cause of death.

His uncle, Joshua Masire, emphasizes Nyabaro’s potential and asserts that foul play is suspected, pointing to evidence from the post-mortem examination revealing manual strangulation, not suicide.
