Diddy Charged with Racketeering, Sex Trafficking, and Assault in Ongoing Federal Case

In a hurry? Here’s a quick summary…

  • Sean Combs, known as Diddy, has been charged with racketeering and sex trafficking, accused of organizing drug-fueled “Freak Offs” involving coerced sexual acts
  • Combs denies the allegations and remains in jail without bail as multiple abuse accusations continue to emerge.

Popular rapper Sean Combs, known as Diddy, has been charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and several other serious crimes in a federal case.

The 54-year-old is currently being held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, a facility notorious for its poor conditions and history of housing high-profile inmates such as R. Kelly and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Combs faces accusations of orchestrating “Freak Offs,” events where he allegedly coerced victims, including male sex workers, into extended sexual acts, often under the influence of drugs.

Prosecutors claim Combs abused his power and status to facilitate these acts, providing controlled substances to ensure compliance.

Federal raids on his Miami and Los Angeles homes uncovered firearms, ammunition, and over 1,000 bottles of lubricant.

The indictment also accuses Combs of creating a criminal enterprise involving sex trafficking, forced labor, and other illicit activities.

His associates allegedly helped arrange travel, accommodations, and supplies for these events, with “Freak Offs” reportedly lasting for days.

Prosecutors further claim Combs was physically abusive, assaulting victims by striking, kicking, and dragging them.

Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has denied the charges, asserting that the “Freak Offs” were consensual.

He plans to appeal the bail decision, but Combs remains jailed as he awaits trial. The case follows a series of abuse allegations against Combs, including a civil suit from his ex-girlfriend Cassandra Ventura, which was settled out of court.

Since then, several more individuals have come forward with similar accusations.
