Job Specification Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedules and supervises maintenance repair work and checks
    installation and servicing of building equipment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and landscaping;
  • Coordinates building maintenance and support services such as cleaning, fumigation, gardening and parking.
  • Implements maintenance plans and schedules for building systems and facilities
  • Coordinates building projects such as refurbishments and renovations.
  • Plans and coordinates safety inspections and ensure buildings meet health and safety standards
  • Maintains up-to-date database of facilities maintenance service contracts.
  • Schedules routine inspections and records any maintenance need in the Maintenance
  • Log for submission together with inspection reports.
  • Supervises outsourced services including cleaning, maintenance and repairs
  • Prepares and submit regular reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences
  • Ensure properties are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

Person Specification For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

  • Diploma in Real Estate/Facilities Management/Construction Management/Electrical Engineering, Plumbing or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Proficiency in computer applications
