Responsibilities:
The National Coordination Consultant will serve as a focal point to obtain basic information/data, coordinate with local actors and stakeholders and obtain co-financing letters.
She/he should also be responsible for organizing the required stakeholder consultation workshops or bilateral meetings.
Qualifications/special skills
- An advanced University degree in economics, engineering, urban development, environmental sciences, business, management, or a related discipline is required.
- A first level degree with additional two years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
- 3 Year Minimum experience in the field of climate change Urban development, environment and/or development project.
- Experience in working with the Kenyan national government / institutions is required;
- Experience working with the UN and/or development agencies is a desirable.
