Kelvin Kiptum’s ‘Baby Mama’ Says She Dated Him Fully Aware He Was Married

A woman claiming to be Kelvin Kiptum’s ‘baby mama’ revealed their romantic involvement despite his marriage, detailing their relationship dynamics and interactions with his wife.

She disclosed that Kiptum promised to support her education later on and emphasized that he fulfilled his fatherly responsibilities until his untimely death.

A woman who claims to have been romantically involved with the late marathoner Kelvin Kiptum, despite his marriage, has come forward with details about their relationship. 

Edna Owuor, identifying herself as Kiptum’s ‘baby mama’, disclosed that their romantic connection began in 2019 while Kiptum was still married. 

She revealed that Kiptum would spend weekdays with her, even living together in her house, but would visit his wife during nights or weekends.

Owuor, thrust into the public eye just before Kiptum’s burial when the court declined her request to halt the internment, candidly discussed the dynamics of their relationship. 

She stated that despite Kiptum’s marital status, he treated her with love and care. Owuor also disclosed that Kiptum’s wife initially reacted with anger and insult upon learning about their relationship, but eventually accepted the situation.

Regarding her education, Owuor claimed that she had put it on hold to care for her daughter with Kiptum, as per his request. She asserted that Kiptum had promised to support her education later on.

Contrary to accusations of neglect, Owuor emphasized that Kiptum never shirked his responsibilities as a father. She maintained that he consistently provided for their child until his untimely death. 

In fact, they had even spoken with Kiptum’s father shortly before the accident, with plans for financial support on the day he tragically passed away.
