To honor the distinguished General, the family is working with a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) committee to organize a fitting send-off.
General Ogolla was one of 10 military personnel killed in a helicopter crash on Thursday in the Sindar area of Elgeyo Marakwet County.
Before his untimely death, Ogolla was scheduled to visit Siaya County on Saturday, April 20, to commemorate his father’s upcoming 100th birthday, with festivities planned to continue into Sunday and involve the local community.
