Kenyans living in Lebanon are pleading for help as Israel continues its deadly bombardment of Beirut, which has claimed over 105 lives and left 359 others injured.
Israel asserts that its strikes targeted Hezbollah leaders and destroyed numerous Hezbollah facilities.

Similarly, Vashem Kirubo, another Kenyan working as a caregiver, revealed that many Kenyans have been abandoned by their employers, who have fled in fear of the ongoing bombardments.
“Our bosses left us behind in their houses, and some have gone offline. We are displaced and urgently need help,” Kirubo said.
Wangithi also recounted how her employer fled to Switzerland, leaving her in a vulnerable situation.
His brother, who initially stayed behind, later left for Syria, further deepening her sense of abandonment.
“We came here seeking greener pastures, but now we are stranded and in desperate need of assistance,” she added.
The situation in the Middle East is escalating, with Israel intensifying its strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthi militia in Yemen.
According to Reuters, the increasing frequency of these attacks has raised concerns that the conflict could spiral out of control, potentially drawing in Iran and the United States, Israel’s key ally.
On Sunday, Israel launched further airstrikes, targeting Hezbollah positions in Lebanon and Houthi forces in Yemen, heightening fears of a broader regional conflict.
