Until a resolution is reached, the union has instructed doctors to refrain from work, emphasizing their determination to continue the strike until their demands are met.

The strike was initiated due to the Ministry of Health’s failure to fulfill various obligations, including the posting of medical interns and adherence to the 2017 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Despite a recent court order suspending the strike, doctors have maintained their stance since its commencement on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
