Acknowledging the complexity of the demands raised by the striking doctors, Nakhumicha highlighted the urgent need to expedite the implementation of the Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF).
This initiative aims to bolster healthcare infrastructure and address resource shortages within the sector.
Despite ongoing efforts to resolve the impasse, the prolonged strike has severely disrupted healthcare services in public hospitals, leaving patients in a precarious situation.
