He highlighted his familiarity with their work, recalling his time serving alongside Kabogo and Kagwe in the 9th Parliament, with Kinyanjui joining in the 10th Parliament.
President Ruto reaffirmed that the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda is already making significant progress, with intensive efforts underway across the country.
He emphasized the importance of the new appointees in advancing this initiative and contributing to the government’s development goals.
The appointments follow a recent Cabinet reshuffle, aimed at fostering inclusivity and promoting national unity.
Kagwe returns to the Cabinet after his tenure as Health CS under former President Uhuru Kenyatta. Kinyanjui, a former one-term governor of Nakuru who lost to Susan Kihika in the 2022 elections, will now oversee the Trade docket.
Kabogo, known for his tenure as Kiambu governor from 2013 to 2017, takes charge of the ICT sector, with plans to strengthen the country’s data protection laws.
