However, it remains unclear whether there were any fatalities or the exact cause of the tragic incident.

Local residents noted that the road in Kibirigwi tends to become slippery, particularly during the ongoing rainy season, possibly contributing to the accident.

Emergency services and police officers responded swiftly to the scene to provide medical aid to the injured individuals.

This incident was among several accidents reported on the same day, some of which resulted in fatalities and severe injuries.

One such accident involved a Land Cruiser and a Trinity Bus at Zambezi along the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway, where the Land Cruiser driver lost his life in a head-on collision.

According to reports, the Land Cruiser driver was in the wrong lane, leading to the fatal outcome.

His body was transported to a local morgue for autopsy and preservation, while his vehicle was towed to clear the road for other motorists.

The surge in road accidents has sparked concern among Kenyans, prompting calls for both drivers to adhere to traffic rules and for traffic officers to enforce regulations more rigorously.
